Many of us have learned from a reputed bengali newspaper today that India may be the first country in the world where 'cryptocurrency' is going to be banned. Let's find out what this 'cryptocurrency' is all about.
In fact, it is a highly secure digital currency exchange method or technology where anyone can use this technology to send or receive money to any end in no time with the help of a third party. Satoshi Nakamoto from Japan first invented this technology in 2009. Bitcoin is the first digital virtual currency to be controlled with this technology. Let's take a look at the features of this technology.
Features
1) It is a very secure technology, because the code with which it is created, every user gets a 'Private Key' which is very large and complex, so it is almost impossible to steal or break the code.
2) This technology does not require any third party, so no application or permission is required for this method of transaction.
3) It is possible to transact money with any part of the world at the moment and the biggest thing is that it does not require any contact, only an address or address which is the sum of 30 numbers.
4) In this method the value of a coin does not decrease with time, i.e. the value of a coin which is fixed at the beginning, therefore remains fixed for life.
However, some faults have been found in this technology. We did not know them.
1)Since there is no government control over this technology, every digital transaction cannot be traced. As a result misuse of dark money can be transact with the help of this technology.
2)Even though it is safe enough, once a person forgets his 'Private Key', that money can no longer be recovered.
3)Although it is said that its system is not under anyone's control, the word is not entirely correct because those who make this virtual currency have some control in their hands so they can manipulate the coin values in some cases.
4)This technology also pollutes the environment a bit because this technology requires a high quality computer which requires a lot of electricity. As a result, this electricity is collected from heat energy which in turn pollutes the environment.
5) If the user made a mistake during the exchange of money, then the money can not be recovered and total wealth gets ruined.
However, even if our government wants to ban external cryptocurrency,it is going to make this arrangement in the entire domestic process. We are all hoping for that good day.

আমরা অনেকেই আজকে একটি বিখ্যাত বাংলা সংবাদপত্র থেকে জানতে পেরেছি যে হয়তো ভারতবর্ষই হবে বিশ্বের প্রথম দেশ যেখানে 'ক্রিপ্টোকারেন্সি' নিষিদ্ধ হতে চলেছে।তা এই 'ক্রিপ্টোকারেন্সি' আসলে ব্যাপারটি কী সেটা একটু জেনে নেওয়া যাক।
আসলে এটি এক অত্যন্ত সুরক্ষিত ডিজিটাল মুদ্রা বিনিময় পদ্ধতি বা প্রযুক্তি যেখানে যে কেউ এই প্রযুক্তি ব্যবহার করে মুহূর্তের মধ্যে কোনো তৃতীয় ব্যক্তির সাহায্য না নিয়ে যে কোনও প্রান্তে টাকা পাঠানো বা গ্রহণ যায়।জাপানের সাতোশি নাকামতো নামক এক ব্যক্তি সর্বপ্রথম ২০০৯ সালে এই প্রযুক্তির উদ্ভাবন করেছিলেন।'বিটকয়েন' হলো সর্বপ্রথম ডিজিটাল ভার্চুয়াল মুদ্রা এই প্রযুক্তির সাহায্যে নিয়ন্ত্রিত।এই প্রযুক্তির বৈশিষ্টগুলো এক ঝলক দেখে নেওয়া যাক।
১)এটি অত্যন্ত সুরক্ষিত প্রযুক্তি ,কারণ যে কোড দিয়ে এটি তৈরী করা হয় তাতে প্রত্যেক ব্যহারকারী একটি 'ব্যক্তিগত চাবি' বা 'Private Key' পেয়ে থাকে যা অনেক বড় ও জটিল হয় ,তারফলে তা কারোর অজান্তে চুরি করা প্রায় অসম্ভব।
২)এই প্রযুক্তিতে কোনো তৃতীয় পক্ষ লাগে না,ফলে এই পদ্ধতিতে লেনদেনের জন্য কোনো আবেদন বা অনুমতি লাগে না ।
৩)এর মাধ্যমে পৃথিবীর যে কোনো প্রান্তের সঙ্গে মুহূর্তে অর্থ লেনদেন করা সম্ভব এবং সবচেয়ে বড় বিষয় হলো এতে আপনার কোনো পরিচিতি লাগে না ,লাগে শুধু একটি ঠিকানা বা address যা ৩০ সংখ্যার সমুষ্টি।
৪)এই পদ্ধতিতে মুদ্রার সময়ের সঙ্গে কোনো মূল্য হ্রাস হয় না,অর্থাৎ শুরুতে একটি মুদ্রার যে মূল্য স্থির করা হয়,তাই আজীবন নিৰ্দিষ্ট থাকে।
তবে এই প্রযুক্তিতেও কিছু গলদ খুঁজে পাওয়ায় গেছে।সেগুলো একটু আমরা জেনে নি।
১)যেহেতু এই প্রযুক্তিতে কোনো সরকারী নিয়ন্ত্রণ না ফলে অসাধুমূলক উদ্দেশ্যে একে চিন্বিত করা নয়।
২)যদিও এটি যথেষ্ট সুরক্ষিত তবু কোনো ব্যক্তি তার 'ব্যক্তিগত চাবি' বা 'Private Key' একবার ভুলে গেলে সেই টাকা আর উদ্ধার করা যাবে না।
৩)যদিও বলা হয়ে থাকে যে এর ব্যবস্থা কারও নিয়ন্ত্রণাধীন নয়,কথাটি পুরোপুরি ঠিক নয় কারণ যারা এই ভার্চুয়াল মুদ্রা তৈরী করে তাদের হাতে কিছু নিয়িন্ত্রন থাকে।
৪)এই প্রযুক্তি পরিবেশকেও কিছুটা দূষিত করে কারণ এই প্রযুক্তির জন্য দরকার উন্নত মানের কম্পিউটার যার জন্য লাগে প্রচুর বিদ্যুৎশক্তি ।ফলে তাপশক্তি থেকেই এই বিদ্যুৎ সংগ্রহ করা হয় যা প্রকারান্তরে পরিবেশ দূষিত করে।
৫)মুদ্রা বিনিময়ের সময়ে ব্যবহারকারী যদি কোনো ভুল করে থাকে তাহলে সেই টাকা আর উদ্ধার করা যাবে না।
তবে আমাদের সরকারও বাইরের ক্রিপ্টোকারেন্সি নিষিদ্ধ করতে চাইলেও সম্পূর্ণ দেশীয় প্রক্রিয়ায় এই ব্যবস্থা করতে চলেছে।আমরা সকলেই সেই শুভ দিনের আশায় থাকলাম।
