Translation

Today is the 26th of January, the Republic Day of India. So first of all congratulations to all the countrymen on the 72nd year of this happy and historic Republic Day. On this day the path of the Constitution of India started in 1950 and India became known as the largest democracy in the world.we all knew a little bit of these facts. But there is a lot of information beyond that that very few people know. Let's see them.

1) Although India became independent on 15th August 1947, the day was fixed by the British government. Previously, we had no constitution of our own in subjugated India, it was determined by the "Government of Indian Act, 1935" enacted by the British. Although the constitution was adopted on November 26, 1949, it came into force on January 26, 1950. The day was supposed to be January 26 as it was celebrated as "Purna Swaraj" in subjugated India.

2)We all know that the author of the Constitution of India is the respected Dr. B.R Ambedkar.Did you know that it took 2 years and 11 months to write this Constitution. The best pillars of the constitution, such as freedom, brotherhood, and equality, were taken from the French constitution and form of 5 year planning commission was taken from the then USSR.The constitution was written in English and Hindi.

3) On this day, we all see the military parade and demonstration of strength on the "highway" in the national capital, New Delhi, which makes us proud. But did you know that the event was held from 1950-1954 at Erwin Stadium, Kingsway, Red Fort and Ramlila respectively? It has been permanent since 1955 in the "highway" area, formerly known as Kingsway.

4)We all know that every year on this day in our country, the head of state from a friendly country is honored as the "Chief Guest".The first to be honored with this honor was the President of Indonesia, Dr. Sukarno.

5)We all see that the main event starts after the arrival of the President of India. After his arrival, the event starts with the national anthem and 21 rounds of artillery fire.It is  fired from 7 cannons instead of 21 cannons used 3 times. The cannon that are used for  firing was made in 1941.
