Let's take a look at some of the biographies of our modern Ratnakar. The name of the person in the picture is Thomas Raja who was born in North Tamil Nadu, India. He got involved with the criminal world at a very young age.Snatching money,getting drunk and fighting with others were all his daily activities. He even stoled things from his own house for his needs.In addition to his parents, his neighbors were unhappy with his daily abuse.He was even expelled by his parents from his  own  home due to his bad activities. But after that he became more reckless as there was no restraint before him. G

উপরের ছবি দুটি দেখে আপনাদের কী মনে হচ্ছে? ঠিকই ধরেছেন ছবি দুটি একই ব্যক্তির যার নাম ডেভ ওসপ্রে।ইনি আমেরিকার একজন ধনকুবের ও যিনি সম্প্রতি 'স্টেম থেরাপি' পদ্ধতিতে নিজের শরীরের ভিতর বারংবার ইঞ্জেকশন প্রয়োগ করে নিজের অনেকটা হারিয়ে যাওয়া যৌবন ফিরে পাওয়া গেছে বলে দাবী করেছেন।তিনি এও দাবী করেছেন যে আগামী দিনে এই স্টেম থেরাপি দীর্ঘ জীবন বাঁচার এক অন্যতম রসদ হতে চলেছে।তা আমরা একটু দেখে নি যে এই স্টেম থেরাপি আসলে কী ?

বলা হচ্ছে যে এটি হলো একপ্রকার পুনরুজ্জীবনী ঔষধ যা নষ্ট হয়ে যাওয়া কোষকে পুনরায় নূতন চেহারায় ফিরিয়ে আনে, যা একপ্রকার 'অর্গান ট্রান্সপ্লান্টেশন' এর মতন কিন্তু এতে অঙ্গদানের ব্যাপার থাকে না,থাকে শুধু স্টেম সেল সংগ্রহের একটি জটিল প্রক্রিয়া যা ইচ্ছুক ব্যক্তির দেহ থেকেই নেওয়া হয়ে থাকে।তবে এই পদ্ধতি অনেক ব্যয়সাপেক্ষ বটে।আর একটি বিষয় হলো যে এখনো এর সাফল্যের হার আশানুরূপ নয় তবে তা আগামী দিনে তা আরো বাড়বে বলেই আমরা আশা রাখতে পারি।

আজ ২৬-এ জানুয়ারী,ভারতের প্রজাতন্ত্র দিবস।তাই সর্বপ্রথম সকল দেশবাসীকে শুভ ও ঐতিহাসিক এই প্রজাতন্ত্র দিবসের ৭২ তম বর্ষে সকলকে জানাই অভিনন্দন|এই দিনটিতেই ১৯৫০-এ  ভারতের সংবিধানের যাত্রা পথের সূচনা হয় ও বিশ্বের দরবারে ভারত বৃহত্তম গণতান্ত্রিক রাষ্ট্র হিসেবে পরিচিতও হয়।এই সকল বিষয় মোটের উপর আমাদের জানা আছে,কী তাই তো? কিন্তু এর বাইরেও অনেক তথ্য আছে যা খুব কম লোকেই জানে।আসুন সেগুলি দেখা যাক। ১)যদিও ভারত স্বাধীন হয় ১৯৪৭ সালের ১৫ই আগস্টে,কিন্তু দিনটি নির্ধারিত হয়েছিল ব্রিটিশ সরকার দ্বারা।ইতিপূর্বে পরাধীন ভারতে আমাদের নিজেদের কোন সংবিধান ছিল না,ব্রিটিশদের দ্বারা প্রণীত "গভর্নমেন্ট অফ ইন্ডিয়ান এক্ট ,১৯৩৫" অনুযায়ী নির্ধারিত হতো।তাই স্বাধীন ভারতে সেই আইনটিকে সংশোধন করে ১৯৪৯ সালের ২৬ নভেম্বরের পূর্বে কার্যকর করা হতো।যদিও ২৬ নভেম্বর,১৯৪৯ সালে সংবিধানটি গৃহীত হয়েছিল,তবে তা আইনত কার্যকর হয় ১৯৫০-এ ২৬ জানুয়ারী।আর দিনটি ২৬ জানুয়ারী ভাবা হয়েছিল যেহেতু পরাধীন ভারতে এই দিনটিকে "পূর্ণ স্বরাজ" দিন রূপে পালন করা হতো।           ২)আমরা সকলেই জানি যে ভারতের সংবিধানের রচয়িতা হলেন শ্রদ্ধেয় ডক্টর
