Nowadays all around us we can see the cry for the corona vaccine.And with it the human beings dying each day for the shortage of oxygen. Everyday we are going to see many lives being lost due to the lack of these two things. Many like me may think that the corona vaccine would have been better if it had been given earlier.But it is also really praiseworthy to say that this vaccine has come to the market for human welfare within in 8-9 months.

Let's take a look at the reasons why we can call this covid vaccine a breakthrough in mankind.

1)This vaccine is developed in the shortest time (8-9 months) in the history of the epidemic.Before that, it took about 4 years to make a vaccine for Mumps in 1960. Before Covid, it was the shortest time to make a vaccine so far.

2)Earlier, all the vaccines that were made were applied on human DNA, which mixed with human DNA to show its effect.This is the first vaccine to be developed that replaces human DNA with an RNA vaccine.

3) If this corona had not crippled the developed countries of the world in terms of their human resources and economy, the vaccine might not have been made so soon.Many wealthy people, especially in rich countries, have made generous donations that have accelerated the development of covid vaccines.

4) The long process of vaccination from animal trial to human trial and then from human to vaccine has been completed in a very short time, although the vaccine manufacturers claim that they have proceeded with due diligence.

5) Experts claim that the speed with which the vaccine has been developed in Corona will help in vaccinating 24 more viruses that could hit the world in the near future.

এখন আমাদের চারিদিকে শুধু করোনা ভ্যাকসিনের জন্য হাহাকার দেখতে পাচ্ছি।আর তার সঙ্গে অক্সিজেনের জন্য মানুষের করুন আকুতি।প্রতিদিন আমরা এই দুটি জিনিসের অভাবে অনেক প্রাণকে শেষ হতে দেখে চলছি।আমরা কেউ জানি না এর শেষ কোথায়? আমার মতন অনেকেরই হয়তো মনে হচ্ছে যে করোনা ভ্যাকসিন আগে পেলে আরও ভালো হতো।কিন্তু এটাও সত্যে যেভাবে ৮-৯ মাসের মধ্যে এই যুগান্তকারী ভ্যাকসিন মানবকল্যাণের জন্যে বাজারে এসেছে তা সত্যি প্রশংসনীয়।

    আসুন আমরা একটু জেনে নিই কী কী কারণে এই covid ভ্যাকসিনকে আমরা যুগান্তকারী বলতে পারি।

১) এই ভ্যাকসিন মহামারীর ইতিহাসে সবচেয়ে কম সময়ে (৮-৯ মাস) মধ্যে তৈরী হয়েছে।এর আগে ১৯৬০ সালে মাম্পসের জন্য টীকা তৈরী করতে লেগেছিলো প্রায় ৪ বছর।Covid এর আগে সেটাই ছিল সবচেয়ে কম সময়ের মধ্যে টীকা তৈরী।

২) এর আগে যতগুলো ভ্যাকসিন তৈরী হয়েছিল তা প্রয়োগ হতো মানুষের DNA এর উপর,যা মানুষের DNA তে মিশে নিজের কামাল দেখাতো।এইপ্রথম ভ্যাকসিন তৈরী হলো যা মানুষের DNA এর পরিবর্তে RNA ভ্যাকসিন তৈরী হলো।

৩) এই করোনা যদি বিশ্বের উন্নত দেশগুলোকে তাদের মানবসম্পদ ও অর্থনীতিকে পঙ্গু না করে দিত তাহলে হয়তো এত তাড়াতাড়ী এই ভ্যাকসিন তৈরী হতো না।বিশেষ করে ধনী দেশগুলোর বহু ধনী ব্যক্তি এব্যাপারে মুক্তমনে অর্থ দান করেছেন যা ভ্যাকসিন তৈরীর কাজকে দ্রুত করেছে।

৪) এই ভ্যাকসিন তৈরির ক্ষেত্রে Animal ট্রায়াল থেকে হিউমান ট্রায়াল তারপরে তার থেকে মানুষের জন্য টীকাকরণের যে দীর্ঘ প্রক্রিয়া লাগে তা অনেকটা কম সময়ের মধ্যে সম্পন্ন করা হয়েছে যদিও ভ্যাকসিন প্রস্তুতকারী সংস্থার দাবী যে তারা যথাযথ সতর্কতা নিয়ে এব্যাপারে এগিয়েছেন।

৫) বিশেষজ্ঞদের দাবী করোনা আবহে যে দ্রুততার সঙ্গে ভ্যাকসিন প্রস্তুত করা গিয়েছে তা আগামীদিনেতে পৃথিবীর বুকে আঘাত আনতে পারে এরকম আরো ২৪টি ভাইরাস এর টীকাকরণে সাহায্য করতে পারবে।   

আসুন আমরা সকলেই প্রাথর্না করি যে আগামী দিনগুলো মহামারী শূন্য হয়ে উঠুক।
