ঘূর্ণায়মান গ্রাম ,স্লোভাকিয়া
আজ আমরা এমন একটি গ্রাম নিয়ে আলোচনা করবো যেটা দেখলে মনে হতে পারে পুরো গ্রামটাই যেন ঘড়ির কাঁটার বিপরীতে দিকে ঘুরে চলছে।শুনতে অবাক লাগলেও এটা সত্যি প্রায় পাঁচ হাজার বছর গড়ে ওঠা এই রহস্যময় গ্রামটি বাইরে থেকে দেখলে মনে হতে পারে আস্ত গ্রামটি ঘড়ির কাঁটার উল্টোদিকে ঘুরে চলেছে।বিষয়টি একটু খুলে যাক।
বর্তমানে স্লোভাকিয়ায় অবস্থিত ভ্র্যাবেলে এইরকম একটি গ্রামের সন্ধান পাওয়া গেছে।বিজ্ঞানীরা লক্ষ্য করেন প্রস্তর যুগে গড়ে ওঠা গ্রামের প্রতিটি বাড়ী যেন একটু একটু করে বাঁদিক ঘেঁষে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে।ব্যাপারটি এইভাবে বোঝানো যেতে পারে যে প্রথম বাড়ীর সমান্তরাল না করে তৈরী হয়েছিল দ্বিতীয় বাড়ী ।আবার তৃতীয় বাড়ীটিও সমান্তরাল না করে দ্বিতীয়টির একটু বাঁদিকে গড়ে উঠেছিল।প্রথম প্রথমে এ বিষয়ে নানা ধারণা তৈরী হয়।
প্রথমে মনে করা হলো ডানদিক থেকে আসা বায়ুর গতিবেগকে বাঁধা দিতেই বোধহয় এরূপ বাড়ীর গঠন।আবার অন্য ধারণা ছিল বোধহয় সূর্যের আলো পুরোপুরি পেতেই বাড়ীগুলি এভাবেই তৈরী হয়েছিল।যদিও প্রকৃত কারণ ছিল সম্পূর্ণ ভিন্ন।প্রকৃত কারণ বুঝতে গেলে সিউডোনেগ্লেক্ট কথাটির মানে ।এটি হলো জীববিদ্যায় ব্যবহৃত একটি শব্দ।
বিজ্ঞানীদের মতে বেশীর ভাগ মানুষের মধ্যেই এই প্রবণতা দেখা যায়।যে প্রবণতার কথা তারা বলেছেন তা হলো বেশীর মানুষকে কোনো লাইনের মাঝখান চিহ্নিত করতে বললে তারা যে বিন্দু নির্ধারিত করে থাকে সেটি সামান্য বাঁদিক ঘেঁষে হয়ে থাকে।একটি অনুভূমিক রেখা এঁকে কয়েকজনকে তাদের মাঝখান চিহ্নিত করতে দিলে বিষয়টি ভালো করে পর্যালোচনা করা যায়।পুরোটাই হলো মস্তিষ্কের খেল।এই ব্যাপারটাই সেই সময়ে হয়েছিল বলেই তাদের বাড়ীর এইরূপ নির্মাণ।
