আজ ২৩ সে জানুয়ারী।বাংলার দামাল ছেলে,আমাদের প্রিয় নেতা সুভাষ চন্দ্র বসু তথা সমগ্র দেশের 'নেতাজির' জন্মদিন।এ বছর থেকে এই দিনটিকে 'পরাক্রম দিবস' হিসাবে পালিত হবে,সুতরাং আমাদের কাছে এক বাড়তি প্রাপ্তি।আমরা আজ আমাদের প্রিয় নেতার বিভিন্ন কর্মময় দিকগুলো দেখবার চেষ্টা করবো যা আজও আমাদের তার প্রতি সম্ব্রম ও রোমাঞ্চ জাগায়। ১) প্রথমেই আসা যাক সেই প্রেসিডেন্সি কলেজ থেকে বহিষ্কারের প্রসঙ্গে।যেখানে তিনি ইতিহাসের অধ্যাপক ইংরেজ ওটেন সাহেবের বর্ণবৈষম্যমূলক আচরণের তীব্র প্রতিবাদ ও কথা কাটাকাটি করায় অন্যায় ভাবে কলেজ থেকে বহিস্কৃত  হন।যদিও পরে আশুতোষ মুখোপাধ্যায়ের সহযোগিতায় তিনি স্কটিশ চার্চ কলেজে ভর্তি হয়েছিলেন।কিন্তু সেদিনের এই ঘটনাই তার প্রতিবাদী ব্যক্তিত্ব বুঝিয়ে দিয়েছিলো। ২)দ্বিতীয় প্রসঙ্গে আমরা বলতেই পারি যে তিনি অকুতোভয়ে নিজের উজ্জ্বল ভবিষ্যতের কথা না চিন্তা করে হেলায় ব্রিটিশ অধীনে সরকারী চাকুরী করতে না চাওয়া,যদিও তিনি মর্যাদাপূর্ণ ICS পরীক্ষায় চতুর্থ হয়েছিলেন। ৩)তিনিই প্রথম ব্যক্তি যিনি জনগণের প্রকৃত নেতা বলে পরিচিত হয়েছিলেন।ভাবুন তো বিদেশের মাটিতে (জার্মানি) এই সম্ভোধন কতটা গর্বের ...

আমরা সকলেই বৈচিত্রপূর্ণ ভারতের সংস্কৃতির সঙ্গে কম বেশি পরিচিত।শুধু আমরাই নয়,পৃথিবীর সকল প্রান্ত থেকে যুগ যুগ ধরে বহু মানুষ এর টানে আমাদের দেশে এসেছেন।তা চলুন আজ আমরা আমাদের দেশের কিছু সমাধান না হওয়া রহস্য নিয়ে আলোচনা করি। ১)অভিশপ্ত কুলধারা :জায়গাটি জয়সলমীর থেকে ১৫ কিমি দূরে এবং অভিশপ্ত বলে পরিচিত।ইতিহাস বলে ১২৯১ সালে প্রায় ৮৪টি গ্রামের গ্রামবাসীরা হঠাৎ এক অজানা কারণে গ্রাম ছাড়েন ।এর পরে আর কেউ সেখানে বসবাসের জন্যে যায় নি,বা গেলেও নৃশংস ভাবে মরতে হয়েছে।কিন্তু ঠিক কী কারণে তাদের গ্রাম ছাড়তে হয়েছিল তা আজও অজানা । ২)টানত মাতা মন্দির :এটিও জয়সলমীরে অবস্থিত।যে গ্রামে মন্দিরটি রয়েছে,তা ভারত-পাকিস্তান সীমানার কাছে এবং ইতিহাস বলে যে ১৯৬৫ ও ১৯৭১ সালের দুটি ভারত-পাকিস্তান যুদ্ধে ভারতের যে অসামান্য জয় হয়েছিল,তারও জন্যে এই মন্দিরটি সকলের কাছে দ্রষ্টব্য।বলা হয় সে সময় পাকিস্তানের পক্ষ থেকে প্রায় ৩০০০ বোমা ফেলা হয়েছিল যার একটাও বিস্ফোরিত হয় নি।এমনকি তাদের ট্যাংক বাহিনীও সে সময়ে বালিতে বসে যাওয়ায় সেদিন তাদের উদ্দেশ্যে বিফল হয়েছিল।এইসকল কারণ আজও অজানা । ৩)ঝুলন্ত গম্বুজ ,লেপাক্ষী মন্দি...

A week ago I was watching a popular news channel, where a debate was being held on all the health projects that were coming before us one after the other at the pre-voting stage.I n addition to the political representatives of different parties, many non-political personalities were also present at that debate. we common men are not indulge by any party. Yes, it is true that we support one party or another, but many like me may feel that there can not be any political barrier to development, no matter which party brings it. আসুন আজ আমরা আমাদের কিছু হারিয়ে যাওয়া শৈশবের খেলাধূলা নিয়ে আলোচনা করি।এই সব খেলাগুলোই বাংলার নিজস্ব ও খুবই জনপ্রিয়।এখনকার ছেলেমেয়েদের শৈশবের ছবি দেখে সত্যিই করুণা হয়।ভাবতে ভালো লাগে আমরা অন্তত এসব খেলাধূলার সঙ্গে পরিচয় করার সুযোগ পেয়েছি।আর কথা বাড়িয়ে সময় নষ্ট করবো না।একে একে সেই সব খেলার সঙ্গে একটু পরিচয় করে নেওয়া যাক। ১) Gulli danda এটি সাধারণত ২ ফুটের একটি বড়ো লাঠি যাকে আমরা ডান্ডা ও ৪ ইঞ্চির মাঝখানে গোলাকার এবং প্রান্তে তীক্ষ্ণ আরেকটি ছোট লাঠি থাকে যাকে আমরা গিলি বলি,এ দুটি নিয়ে খেলা হয়। গিলি-ডান্ডা খেলা ক্রিকেটের মতোই। এই গেমটিতে আপনাকে যা করতে হবে তা হল ডান্ডা ব্যবহার করে গিলির উপর শক্ত আঘাত করা। এর ফলে গিলি উল্টে যায় এবং বাতাসে যখন এটি ভেসে তখন আপনাকে এটিকে ডান্ডা দিয়ে ধাক্কা দিতে হবে। যিনি গিলিকে সবচেয়ে বেশি দূরত্বে আঘাত করেন তিনি জেতেন। গিলি মারার পরে,অপর খেলোয়াড়কেও প্রতিপক্ষের দ্বারা গিলি পুনরুদ্ধার করে পূর্বসম্মত নিয়মে খেলতে হবে। ২) Rumal churi এই খেলা খেলতে প্রতিযোগীরা সব গোলাকার বেষ্টিত হয়ে খেলে।তাদের মধ্যে কোন এক জন রুমাল নিয়ে প্রতিযোগীদের পিছনে  চক্রাকারে ...
